 We went over a poem name "Negro Speaks Of Rivers". I liked this poem because it explained how the rivers are connected to African Americans. Also, I learned that the first man was actual an African American so that was cool. Overall, today's class was very easy and I learned a lot.

Overview | 3-17-23

 Today in class we finished the book. After Cory left the house a few years later he finally came back to his dad being dead and a new sister. I really didn’t expect him to die and everything just happened so fast. I played the character of Cory again and I felt like I could really get the feel of his emotions while reading it. I felt like the ending could’ve been better but the play was amazing. Overall, I had fun reading this week and hope we get another like this soon.
